Chunks Microlearning is a mobile app that turns complex topics — history,
philosophy, science, mythology and more — into short, narrated audio stories
you can finish in five minutes. Built as an antidote to doomscrolling, it
lets people learn something real in the gaps of their day instead of
mindlessly scrolling. Founded in 2025 by software engineer Andy Shephard,
Chunks reached 3,000 monthly active learners in 2026. It is available free
on the App Store and Google Play.

KEY FEATURES
- Every story is a short, narrated audio experience designed to be finished
  in one sitting, typically four to eight minutes.
- The library covers more than 200 stories across history, philosophy,
  science, mythology, literature and art, with new stories added regularly.
- There is no infinite feed: stories are finite, split into chapters, and
